In 2017, NSC employees posted zero recordable injuries and illnesses, for the first time since recordkeeping began. This represents nearly 500,000 hours worked without a recordable event.
As a mission-driven nonprofit organization, we direct revenue from our programs and services right back into our advocacy work so we can eliminate preventable deaths in our lifetime. NSC released the last print version of Injury Facts®; the definitive annual publication for preventable deaths and injuries in the United States for nearly 100 years will be available on the web starting in 2018.
